Victorian Silver Monteith-form Fruit Bowl, London, 1881, maker's mark FE, oval, with scalloped, reeded rim, chased and embossed with ribbon-tied husk swags, and flatleaves, with ram's mask pendant ring handles, on flaring foot, lg. 11 1/2 in., approx. 21 troy oz. marks good. minor age wear, including wear to interior goldwash, and very slight compression of footrim to body evident to interior.
