French, 20th century. A charming petite or diminutive armoire with striking rosewood veneers comprising a tan marble top two front doors with diagonal patterned rosewood inlay, each with inset wire mesh grille panels framed by curved moldings opening to oak interior, the curved side panels headed by gilt metal foliate scroll mounts, the sides with gorgeous inlaid veneers in a chevron pattern, all raised on two front cabriole legs terminating in gilt metal leaf and scroll sabots and raking back legs. With four adjustable shelves and notched brackets. Approximate height 58.75", width 34", depth 15.5".
