Oil on canvas and watercolor on silk, both paintings depicting two children, one child using a twig to tickle the ear of the other child who is sleeping, with trees and flowers in the background, 21 1/2 x 25 3/4, 21 1/2 x 27 in., in period molded giltwood frames. Condition: Oil on canvas with minor paint loss to background, craquelure; watercolor on silk with moisture stain left side.
