Louis XV Style Tulipwood and "Sevres" Mounted Bonheur du Jour, c. 1880, the upper section with three-quarter brass gallery and a pair of doors and drawers, the lower section with serpentine sides, porcelain-mounted frieze drawer and cabriole legs; decorated allover with foliate and figural mounts, porcelain plaques painted with foliage and birds, ht. 49 1/2, wd. 28 1/2, dp. 20 in. Some metal mounts popping; age typical minor defects; top of lower section with water stains and finish loss; left drawer with cracked porcelain plaque; minor enamel wear to plaques; legs with some minor veneer loss; back left leg repaired.
