Large J. E. Caldwell & Co. Sterling Repousse Tea Tray, Philadelphia, late 19th century, rectangular, with rounded ends, engraved to center with monogram within acanthus cartouche, and star-centered diapered ground, the sides with wide band of chased and embossed foliage, and with overlapping leaftip rim, lg. 26 5/8, wd. 20 in., approx. 163 troy oz. marks other than Caldwell, but likely by Peter L. Krider Co. Good condition, with very minor surface scratching/abrasion, and green patina/tarnish around rim.
