Two Gorham Coin Silver Teawares, mid 19th century, comprising egg shaped teapot with beaded rims, spout, and lid final, acanthus ear handle, body engraved with strapwork cartouches and leaftip, on engine turned ground, ht. 9 3/4, and a matching kettle on stand, unmarked, similar styled as teapot, but with elaborate satyr mask and pendant ring handles, tap with faceted handle, on removable stand with scroll feet cast to knees with beading and foliage, full ht. 16 1/2 in., approx. 118 troy oz. total. Note: Possibly similar to an Abraham Lincoln presidential service. teapot with thumbsized dent to one cartouche. kettle unmarked. two sizeable dents at upper rim as if dropped. minor dings and scratches to body. not monogrammed.
