Four Piece Crosby & Morse Sterling Aesthetic Movement Tete a Tete Tea Set, Boston, mid 19th century, bullet shaped teapot and covered sugar, with ovoid creamer and waste bowl, all with floriform lid finials, angular handles with ram masks hung with husk swags, paneled spouts with further husk swags, with engraved patera lappets and reeded girdle, on acanthus-topped hoof feet, monogrammed, teapot ht. 6 1/2 in., approx. 44 troy oz. total. waste bowl with surface wear to engraving; not mongrammed. creamer with a pinpoint, and body compressed somewhat onto top of one leg. sugar with thumbsized dent to left of monogram, and lid not currently fitting well. teapot with looseness in handle, and very light ding to one side. All with minor usage wear and surface wear. mono: M
