Regency Rosewood Crossbanded Mahogany Chiffoniere, early 19th century, the upper section with three-quarter gallery and two small drawers, the projecting lower section with two drawers and two doors, on short saber feet, ht. 41 1/2, wd. 36, dp. 14 1/2 in. Age typical gouges and scratches, with minor shrinkage and chips to veneers. Refinished and shellaced. Minor dark spotting throughout. Right side sunfaded. Interior with one shelf, but fitted to accompodate more. Shrinkage cracks to footboard, and minor spot of worming to right front corner of footboard to interior.
