Southern Plains Beaded Hide Breast Plate, Arapaho, c. third quarter 19th century, rawhide spacers with eight rows of black and white imitation wampum beads, two small arrowheads tied to the sides, short fringe at the sides, (some bead loss), 8 1/2 x 8 in. Provenance: W.R. Black Watonga, Oklahoma, 1920s, "collected from Black Man. Arapahoe Indian from Geary, OKLA," Pawnee Bill's collections.
