Jessie Arms Botke (American, 1883-1971) Distant Towers Signed and dated "JESSIE ARMS BOTKE 1917" l. r. Oil on canvasboard, 17 x 17 in. (43.1 x 43.1 cm), in a period frame. Condition: Retouch, craquelure. N.B. Frame possibly designed by Frederick Law Olmstead. There are several tiny dots of retouchscattered throughout, as well as several tiny flecks of loss within the sea. The painting might benefit from cleaning.
