Engraved Whale's Tooth, 19th century, the tooth engraved with allegorical figures and symbols, including angels and cherubs, a globe, a crowned female figure with orb, an eagle, a little girl, three ships, one bearing an American flag, (minor age cracks), lg. 5 1/4 in. there are about 5 age cracks around the base, a fairly unobtrusive thin line crack starts at mid-tooth and goes up and over the tip to the other side about an inch.
