Currier & Ives, publishers (American, 1857-1907) "FOUR-IN-HAND. ," 1861 (Conningham, 2092). Identified in inscriptions in the matrix. Large folio lithograph with hand-coloring on paper, sheet size 20 5/8 x 29 1/2 in., in a later molded wood frame. Condition: Margins of 7/8 in. or more, laid onto cardboard, toning, stains. Brownish vertical stains from acid from previous wood backing, numerous speckled brown stains along lower edge, (hidden by mat), light mat stains.
