Pieced Cotton Star of Bethlehem Quilt, America, late 19th century, large central eight-point star constructed of diamond-shaped segments of solid red, blue, green, pink, and yellow cotton fabric, on a solid light blue cotton ground, edged with red and white calico printed fabric, brought over to the reverse and alternating with panels of yellow cotton calico printed fabric, with outline and diamond quilting stitches, (scattered light stains), 91 x 91 in.
