Eight Small Wallpaper Covered Band Boxes, America, early 19th century, including seven oval and one round box, each covered with floral and geometric patterned paper, many lined with newspapers of the period, (wear, losses), ht. 2 1/2-3 3/4, dia. 4 1/4-8 1/4 in. many with wear and small losses around edges, some with dark stains and fading, one of them is lined with newspaper with 1837 date, one with 1913 date, but most appear early 19th c., one is printed in German, possibly PA.
