Cobalt Blue Decorated Stoneware Crock with Tree Stump, Fence, and Bees, America, mid-19th century, three-gallon straight-sided crock with lug handles, decorated with a freehand cobalt stylized tree stump and birds or bees, (imperfections), ht. 11 in. Crock with rim chips: 3/4 x 1 5/8, 3/4 x 1/2 in. and a few smaller ones, crack on rear from rim down about 4 in., some of the cobalt decoration is fried, 2 small potstone pings in the making on stump and just above left side of fence.
