George III Silver Coffeepot, London, c. 1791, domed hinged lid with urn-form finial on fluted urn-form body with incurved neck, molded leaf pattern serpentine spout on trumpet-shaped pedestal mounted on a scalloped edge foot ring, high loop curved fruitwood handle, embellished with borders of bright-cut tripartite leaf and dot and scrolled leaf designs and wheelwork dots, maker's mark with "DU" over obliterated marks, (repair on handle), ht. 14 1/4 in., approx. 32 troy oz.
