Federal Glazed Inlaid Mahogany Tambour Desk Bookcase, Massachusetts or New Hampshire, c. 1815, the tambour opening to a interior of six valanced compartments and three drawers, the case inlaid with wavy birch, bird's-eye maple, and interrupted line stringing, replaced brasses, old refinish, (minor imperfections), ht. 67 1/2, wd. 41 1/2, dp. 21 in. left side top with veneer patches, lower panel on left side with shrinkage crack, right side lower panel with shrinkage cracks, other minor patching, one drawer bottom patched about a quarter, old patches to drawer fronts where old pulls were.
