Four Redware Pottery Items, America, early to late 19th century, a small flowerpot with coggled rim, three jars, two of ovoid form with wide mouths, and a jar attributed to John Corliss at Days Ferry in West Woolrich, Maine, (minor imperfections), ht. 3 1/4-5 5/8 in. flower pot- base chips, crack on rim; larger jar - old small rim chips and glaze losses around rim; smaller jar- 3/4 in hairline from rim, smoothed from wear glaze wear around rim; Corliss jar- there are several smoothed-over lines around the body, that at first appear to be hairline cracks but do not appear to the interior and not under black light, perhaps cracks repaired before firing?
