French, 19th century. A fine Louis XV style walnut carved banquette, bench or window seat having a rectangular padded cushion covered in a cream and blue linen floral fabric over an acanthus carved scroll apron decorated with diaper pattern, shell and rosettes raised on acanthus carved cabriole legs ending in scrolled toes joined by a molded scrolled stretcher centered by a carved paterae medallion. Approximate height 21.5", width 60", depth 19. Provenance: Acquired from Jacqueline Adams in Atlanta, Georgia by a Private Collection in Atlanta, Georgia.
