Painted Cast Iron Mechanical "Creedmore Bank," manufactured by J. & E. Stevens Co., Cromwell, Connecticut, "Pat'd. Nov. 6 1877," the bank takes its name from an old New York State rifle range on Long Island; by placing a coin on the top of the rifle and pushing the figure's right foot down, the coin is shot into a bull's-eye target on the tree and strikes a bell, (paint wear), ht. 6 5/8 in. allover subtle paint wear, mechanic work
