Stevens Co., Cromwell, Connecticut, c. 1901, by placing a coin in the slot in front of the hen and raising the lever, the hen moves her head calling for the chick, the chick emerges from under her and pecks the coin into the bank, (scattered paint wear), ht. 4 7/8 in. mechanics work, side with lever shaows much more paint wear than the other side.
