Needlework Picture, "1782 Elizabeth Pearcy Finished this work in the Twelfth year of her age," England, late 18th century, worked in silk threads on a woven wool ground, depicting a landscape with a house, barn, shepherd and shepherdess, sheep and other farm animals, pond, and a figure carrying a sack to a windmill, enclosed in a geometric floral border, (scattered losses, toning, fading), 12 x 17 in. in a birdseye maple frame. several small losses primarily to upper sky and borders older stitch repair l.c.
