Painted Cast Iron Elephant Howdah Mechanical Bank, Enterprise Mfg. Co., Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, c. 1884, by placing a coin in the elephant's mouth and pressing the lever, the elephant eats the coin by pushing it into his mouth with his trunk, while a small wooden man pops up from the howdah, (scattered paint wear), ht. 5 1/2 in. mechanics work but are a little sticky
