Painted Cast Iron Mechanical "Creedmore Bank," manufactured by J. & E. Stevens Co., Cromwell, Connecticut, the bank takes its name from an old New York State rifle range on Long Island; by placing a coin on the top of the rifle and pushing the figure's right foot down, the coin is shot into a bulls-eye target on the tree and strikes a bell, (paint wear, missing base coin plug), ht. 6 5/8 in. the lettering on the lowert base plaque is worn so that the Pat''d Nov. 6 1877 connot be seen., scattered paint wear, mechanics work.
