Silver Porringer, America, probably Massachusetts, second quarter 18th century, round bowl with domed center, pierced keyhole pattern handle with three generations of Foster names engraved on the bowl side, (dents), ht. 1 5/8, dia. 4 7/8, lg. 7 1/8 in. An inscription on a tag attached to the handle reads: "Silver porringer given by Anna Almy to her Namesake Anna Almy (Wilbur) Foster, wife of Ethan Foster, in 1841..." several soft dents to bulbous area of bowl, rim a little out of round, approx. 5 troy oz. silver
