Four Covered Wooden Boxes, Two Bowls, and a Firkin, America, mid-19th century, four round boxes with lapped bentwood sides in shades of blue, light-green, dark green, and natural, a small and a large turned wooden bowl, both painted red, and a blue-painted stave and hoop-constructed firkin, (wear), ht. 2 1/2-9 1/2 in., dia. 5 1/2 -17 3/4 in. wear and paint wear associated with use, all show original paint except for the small lt. green with the "70" painted on it it was originally dark green.
