Mahogany Patent Timepiece or "Banjo" Clock, Aaron Willard, Jr. , Boston, c. 1820, with wooden bezel, waist and lower door panels, painted iron dial faintly signed, "A. Willard, Jr." and eight-day time only movement with fillister head screw attachment to the case, single bridge suspension, recoil escapement, iron weight and pendulum, (imperfections), ht. 38 in. lower wood panel is a restoration, upper panel appears to be original, lower pediment is a probable replacement, probably never had a finial, dial is undisturbed, original hands, weight and pendulum, movement inscribed "Cleaned by E. Taber, October 21, 1841".
