Green and Gold Linsey-Woolsey Quilt, America, late 18th/early 19th century, three-piece whole cloth quilt, the bottom corners removed to accommodate a four-poster bed, the center field of quilted rosettes within diamonds the sides and bottom with quilted undulating feather, heart, and rosette designs, (minor holes, color striations), 103 x 97 in. green side- approx. 10 small holes, gold side- several small holes in a 4 in. area, plus a few other scattered small holes, a 6 in. line of dark brown stain, some light color variations.
