Attributed to Pierre Gobert (French, 1662-1744) Portrait of a Child Purported to be the Prince de Loraine, 1704 Unsigned, artist, subject and date identified in inscription on the reverse. Oil on canvas, 31 1/4 x 25 in. (79.4 x 63.5 cm), framed. Condition: Lined, retouch, minor scattered losses, craquelure. Provenance: Descended within the family of the Countess Platen von Hallermund.
