George Elbert Burr (American, 1859-1939) Lot of Two Southwestern Views: The Sentinel Pine (Seeber, 135) and Fish Creek, Apache Trail, Arizona, impression (possibly later) from the reduced plate without remarques (Seeber, 264). Both signed "George Elbert Burr" in pencil l.l. and monogrammed in the plate, former inscribed and titled in pencil l.r. Etchings on paper, plate sizes to 9 3/4 x 6 3/4 in. (24.8 x 17.1 cm), matted, the former framed. Condition: Subtle toning, not examined out of frame.
