Chinese Export Porcelain Platter with Warming Dish and a Cover, early 19th century, shallow oval platter set on a conforming dish with entwined strap handles with leaf and sprig terminals, bordered with underglaze blue diaper, butterflies, and floral sprays highlighted with gilt, and gilt initials "FJ," the platter center and dish sides decorated with an enameled ship flying a British flag, accompanied by a similar shaped cover with pinecone knop, and conforming enameled ship and border decoration, and gilt initials, (gilt wear), ht. 2 7/8, dia. 12 1/2 in.
