Federal Mahogany Dwarf Clock, Joshua Wilder, Hingham, Massachusetts, c. 1825, the removable hood with pierced fret, plinths and brass finials above an arched and glazed hood door flanked by free-standing columns and enclosing a painted iron dial with Arabic numerals, gilt scrolls in the spandrels, basket of flowers in the arch and signed "Warranted by J. Wilder, Hingham", hour, minute, and alarm hands above the veneered waist door with molded edge flanked by quarter columns on a French foot base with scalloped apron all housing an eight-day weight driven timepiece with fall-off strike and alarm, (restoration), ht. 50 1/2 in.
