Incised Floral Decorated Stoneware Jar, probably New York City or northern New Jersey, late 18th/early 19th century, ovoid form with applied open loop lug handles and incised lines around the neck, one side ornamented with an incised tulip, the other side with a stylized flower, both the flowers and the handle terminals accented with brown glaze, (repaired handles, rim chips, minor cracks), ht. 9 3/8 in.
