Federal Gilt Gesso and Wood Looking Glass, probably New England, c. 1825-30, the molded cornice with applied drop acorns, above a band of acanthus leaves, and a paneled and leaf frieze, with eglomise tablet below showing two boys fishing in a village setting, all flanked by diamond capitals and half-engaged acanthus leaf and rosette decorated spiral columns, (imperfections), ht. 50 3/4, wd. 28 3/4 in.
