Two Wallpaper Covered Boxes, America, early to mid-19th century, an octagonal-sided box centered with a medallion on the cover, the sides with three leafy and geometric borderes, in shades of red, blue, green, brown, and black, the interior cover with penciled inscription "Made and Sold By John Laurenez March the 6 1820"; the other box round, covered with white, green, and black stylized leaf designs on a creamy yellow ground, (wear, fading), ht. 5 3/4, 3 1/2, dia. 8 3/4, 5 in.
