Manner of Narcisse Virgile Diaz de la Peña (French, 1808-1876) Flower /alternatively titled Flower Piece Unsigned, labels, including one from the Museum of the Brooklyn Institute of Arts and Sciences, affixed to the reverse. Oil on canvas, 14 x 10 1/2 in., framed. Condition: Lined, retouch, varnish inconsistencies, craquelure with alligatoring, surface grime. Provenance: Sold for the Benefit of the Brooklyn Museum.
