Sterling Four Piece Coffee Service, 1907-38, comprising vasiform coffeepot, ovoid open sugar and creamer, chased and embossed with reeding to bodies, with vertical leaf bands, and horizontal bands at rim with patera plaques, angular handles ending in acanthus, with matching round salver with central presentation inscription, monogrammed, coffeepot ht. 12 1/2, salver dia. 14 5/8 in., approx. 133 troy oz. Note: Inscription is from John McCormack, a former tenor with the Metropolitan Opera, and RCA recording artist, dated March, 1916, and gifted to an executive of RCA.
