Gothic Revival Rosewood and Brass Mounted Tantalus with Parcel Gilt Glassware, late 19th century, the rectangular rosewood veneered box with sloped, hinged, glass lid, sides of box mounted with etched brass strapwork with mother of pearl studs, side lifting handles, the lid opening to interior fitted with four octagonal decanters, ht. 8, and twelve matching cordial glasses, ht. 3 3/8, all with gilt enamel accenting at rims, case ht. 9 1/2, wd. 15 3/8 in.
