(toning, foxing), sight size13 5/8 x 10 1/4 in.; a memorial stitched with black silk threads on a white silk ground depicting a woman leaning against an urn-topped monument inscribed "Mrs. Elizabeth Winship died March 26th 1804 Aged 45 Years/That blameless Virtue which adorns thy bloom/Lamented Parent now weeps o'er thy Tomb/ While soft remembrance drops the willing tear/ And vows Friendship its chief mourner here"; the background with stitched weeping willow and tree-lined hills, (stains, scattered stitch losses, toning), sight size 15 x 16 1/2 in.
