Set of Eight Fancy Chairs, New England, 1815-30, the rectangular crests above horizontal splats, flanked by rear raking stiles above compass seats and swelled ring-turned legs ending in small ball feet, old olive-green ground paint with gold and black accents highlighted by stenciled yellow and olive-green leaf and grape crest designs above the rushed seats, (surface imperfections, most of the seats are re-rushed), ht. 34, seat ht. 17 1/2 in.
