Southwest Polychrome Pottery Jar, Zuni, c. last quarter 19th century, with concave base, slight flexure at the top of underbody, high shoulder, tapered neck with slight rim flare, painted black at the bottom and inner rim, dark brown and red-brown volutes, two medallions and abstract curvilinear devices on a cream-colored ground, (hairline crack from rim), ht. 7, dia. 10 1/4 in.
