Two Central Plains Beaded Hide Items, c. last quarter 19th century, a very large pair of double saddle bags, the large beaded panels on buffalo hide with canvas backing and fringe off the bottom, bold multicolored geometric devices on a white ground, printed at the top on hide "Presented to ? by the Apache Indians in open court, December 18, 1885," (ink stain, hide loss), with a pipe bag with similar bead colors (heavily damaged), lg. of saddle bags with fringe 64 in.
