Central Plains Beaded Hide Moccasins, Lakota, c. last quarter 19th century, the hard sole forms with bifurcated beaded tongues, beaded with multicolored geometric and cross devices on a white ground, tin cone and red horsehair danglers from the tongues, buffalo hide, with buffalo hair (?) sewn to the inner soles, lg. 11 1/2 in.
