Anders Zorn (Swedish, 1860-1920) Ernest Renan, 1892, final state of five (Asplund, 73). Signed "Zorn" in pencil l.r., monogrammed and dated within the plate. Etching on heavy laid paper, plate size 9 1/8 x 13 1/8 in. (23.1 x 33.2 cm), unmatted, unframed. Condition: Margins 1 3/4 inches or more with deckled edges, toning, annotations (some erased) to lower margin and the reverse, mat burn.
