Albrecht Durer (German, 1471-1528) Madonna by the Tree, 1513, a late 16th or early 17th century impression (Knappe, 70). Monogrammed and dated in the plate. Engraving on paper, image/sheet size 4 1/2 x 2 7/8 in. (11.3 x 7.4 cm), matted, a frame accompanies the lot. Condition: Trimmed to image (along the top within the image), worn impression, thin spots and glue residue to the reverse.
