Artist-Designed 20kt and 18kt Gold Cuff Bracelet, Bruno Martinazzi, designed as 20kt gold fingers and thumb, completed by an 18kt white gold cuff, signed "MARTINAZZI X/XII". Note: Born in Turin in 1923, Martinazzi was trained as a sculptor. His work is found in the permanent collections of the Museum des 20.Jahrhunderts, Vienna, and the Schmuckmuseum, Pforzheim, Germany, among others. Martinazzi has been a member of the Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths, London, since 1964. She notes that the artist used the hand as a symbol of creativity and "an instrument of knowledge and invention, meant to establish a relationship with others." The fingers are formed by the repousse technique.
