Viennese Painted Porcelain Cup and Saucer, third quarter 19th century, painted with a portrait of an officer, identified to underside as "H. J. von Zieten, 1699-1786," with gilt enamel border accented with beading and laural branches, the cylindrical cup with everted rim, loop handle, raised on three gilt paw feet, the saucer similarly gilt decorated with central starburst and laurel edging, cup ht. 5 1/2, saucer dia. 7 1/4 in.
