Two Continental Carved Meerschaum Pipes, late 19th century, one carved all over with scenes of Bacchic revelry, lg. 6 1/4, and the other carved with allegorical beasts, and set with cabochon turquoise colored, faceted red, and a coral colored stone, lg. 6 1/2, sold together with a wood and silvered metal, chain hung stem, lg. 10 3/4 in. Provenance: Deaccessioned from a Northeastern Institution.
