Set of Five Graduated George III Silver Platters, London, 1768, Septimus and James Crespell, makers, all ovoid with molded and edge and gadrooned rim, engraved to one side with Baronian coat of arms flanked by goat and dragon supporters and bearing motto "Vertue Vanceth," and with male bust Baronian crest to other side, the largest two (lg. 21 and 18) with quatrefoil pierced strainer inserts, also engraved with crest, the smaller three without strainers (lg. 16 1/4 and 2 - 13 in.), approx. 306 troy oz. total.
