Federal Cherry Tall Case Clock, possibly New Jersey, c. 1805-10, the hood with molded swans neck cresting with inlaid terminals above three vertical inlaid panels and glazed tombstone door flanked by freestanding columns, the painted iron dial with floral design, seconds hand, and calendar aperture; the waist with inlaid crossbanding and stringing above and below the tombstone door centering a diamond within an oval flanked by quarter-engaged columns with spiral inlaid stringing, over the similarly inlaid base with flaring French feet, (refinished, imperfections), ht. 97 1/4 in.
